At our office, each of our practicing partners brings a wealth of experience and specialty training. Our dentists strengthen our team and provide patients with a full range of treatment options.

Our practice was founded on the belief that it is our core responsibility to rigorously evaluate the latest technology, research, and procedures in the dental profession, and then to recommend the best solutions to our patients.

Peter G. Hallas, D.D.S.

Dr. Peter Hallas graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in 1977. He attended the University of Michigan for both undergraduate and dental school, graduating in 1985.

He serves as a member of the cleft palate team at Spectrum Hospital. He has studied at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies since 1986. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics, ADA, MDA, WMDDS, and KCDS.

Dr. Hallas’ other interests include windsurfing, skiing, bicycling, and fly-fishing.

Michael S. Palaszek, D.D.S.

Dr. Michael Palaszek graduated from Union High School with honors in 1975. He received an associate degree in science, with honors, from Grand Rapids Junior College in 1977. Dr. Palaszek attended the University of Michigan where he earned his D.D.S. degree in 1982.

Valuing continuing education, Dr. Palaszek has studied extensively at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, F.O.R.C.E., and has an advanced Invisalign certification. He is a member of the ADA, MDA, WMDDS, KCDS, The American College of Dentists, the Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Palaszek enjoys spending time with this family, downhill skiing, golf, tennis, clay pigeon shooting, bicycling, and dirt bike riding.

Christopher B. Sampair, D.D.S.

Dr. Christopher Sampair was born and raised in St Paul, Minnesota. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry.

Upon graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry 2006, Dr. Sampair spent nine years serving his country as an Air Force dentist. He spent four years on staff at the Air Force’s one-year Postgraduate Dental Education residency program located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

In 2012, he was recognized as the 88th Dental Squadron’s Clinical Dentist of the year. Dr. Sampair currently serves in the Michigan Air National Guard.

Dr. Sampair has multiple research publications to his name. He is a member of the ADA, MDA, WMDDS, KCDS, The Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics.

Dr. Sampair and his wife Debra have been blessed with five amazing children. When not working, Dr. Sampair enjoys traveling with his family and playing golf as well as other countless outdoor recreational activities. His favorite sport to watch is hockey.
